I am one of your constituents, and I am writing to ask for your help. Across New York City, 143,000 kids are trapped in more than 350 severely failing schools. Schools where 9 out of 10 kids aren't learning to read or to do math. This is a crisis.

No child should be trapped in a failing school. We need real change and we need it now. Our children can' wait.
